Safeguarding Training Day 2: Child Protection and Safeguarding in the Museum and Heritage Sectors

Registration is closed for this event

This course provides a full update on current child protection legislation, including the Disclosure and Barring Service, the Duty to Refer and Working Together. Through contextually relevant case studies, peer discussion and the practical advice and guidance of our expert trainer, participants will develop useful procedures and build confidence around child protection issues relevant within their setting.

Cornwall Museums Partnership are keen to promote its sustainability programme and has recently been encouraging staff and partners to, among other things, car share in order to reduce the overall carbon footprint. We would encourage delegates attending meetings/events run by Cornwall Museums Partnership to use Liftshare Cornwall – (https://liftshare.com/uk/community/cornwall) and The Pasty Connection Facebook Group – (https://www.facebook.com/groups/123436594346182/) alongside using public transport where possible in order to help us achieve our goal.
