This interactive workshop will help to develop your understanding of the role of governance and its responsibilities. Using case studies and learning from the broader charity sector, the session will highlight current compliance issues as well as giving you tools to support the development of your Trustees.

We're delighted to welcome Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy to deliver the first half of this session via webinar. One of Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisations their mission is to strengthen arts and cultural organisations’ resilience and sustainability by transforming their fundraising knowledge, skills and levels of success.

  • Roles and responsibilities of Boards and current best practice
  • Strategic vs Operational role of the Board
  • Legal and regulatory obligations of Trustees
  • Board development including succession planning and recruitment


Cornwall Museums Partnership are keen to promote its sustainability programme and has recently been encouraging staff and partners to, among other things, car share in order to reduce the overall carbon footprint.
